random thoughts number two.
when you forget to be grateful for even smallest thing, you might not be able to be grateful for even bigger gift from Allah. i came across the story of Nabi Ayyub and how he survived the hardships. yes, he was tested becase Allah loves him. he was tested because shaytan envied him. shaytan believed that he was grateful to Allah just because He keeps on giving nabi Ayyub lots of nikmah. so shaytan asked Allah to test nabi Ayyub. take all of his wealth, children, wife and the health. yet, he was still grateful to Allah. Nabi Ayyub did not complaint at all. instead, he said that since Allah had given him more, why should he feel depressed for the temporary test?

yes, we were the same. we were given a lot by Allah. He protected us all this while. He gave us good results, He showered us with his mercy, He took care of us, He allowed us to achieve what we have now. He is ArRahman and ArRahim.
